Point Addis Beach Pet Walk

Where are we going?

Pt Addis, near Anglesea. Approx. two hour drive S/W of Melbourne. From Geelong, follow the signs to Anglesea, once on the Great Ocean Road turn at the Point Addis Road, follow it to the carpark (Mel Ref 511 D9).

What is special about this walk?

• It's on the beach!
• Off-lead area: dogs may be off-lead at the discretion of the walk organisers
• Steep descent to the beach is not pram-friendly
• Bring a picnic lunch
• This is a coastal walk. In the event of defined inappropropriate weather, the Pet Walks Cancellation Policy is applicable.

What to bring?

Bring a picnic lunch plus the usual pet walk supplies, ie:

• Water and bowl for your wolfie
• Poo bags - a must for this walk!
• Dog snacks
• Dog stake and chain (optional)
• Small First Aid kit
• Lunch
• Sunglasses
• Sunblock
• Hat
• Day backpack

Could all members planning on attending walks please put one or both of our mobile phone numbers into their own phones in case they get lost on the way to the meeting point, or find that they are in the wrong place altogether! If it is close to the meeting time and you can't find us then just call for help! We are happy to wait until you arrive if you let us know.
