Yarra Flats (Heidelberg)
Pet Walk

Where are we going?
An walk along the Yarra at Heidelberg. Melway Map 32 C6. There is plenty of
shade from the many graceful trees that grow along the flats of the river.

What is special about this walk?
- On-leash only: dogs must be on lead at all times for this walk
- The walk is about 5 kms using the same trail in each direction
- There are toilets at the starting point car park
- Bring a picnic lunch
- This trail is mostly flat and is constructed of packed gravel and is great
for prams
- This is an inland walk. In the event of defined inappropropriate weather,
the Pet Walks Cancellation Policy is applicable.
What to bring?
Bring a picnic lunch plus the usual pet walk supplies, ie:
- Water and bowl for your wolfie
- Poo bags - a must for this walk!
- Dog snacks
- Dog stake and chain (optional)
- Small First Aid kit
- Lunch
- Sunglasses
- Sunblock
- Hat
- Day backpack

Could all members planning on attending walks please put my mobile phone number
into their own phones in case they get lost on the way to the meeting point,
or find that they are in the wrong place altogether! If it is close to the meeting
time and you can't find me then just call for help! We are happy to wait until
you arrive if you let us know.
