Parkville Pet Walk

Where are we going?

Parkville, near the Royal Park golf course. Meet at the Park Street parking bays - Melway Map 29 E10. (Please note that parking around the zoo area is paid parking now).

What is special about this walk?

• On-leash only: dogs must be on lead at all times for this walk
• Inner Melbourne location
• Easy walking on flat developed trails
• The tracks are pram-friendly
• This is an inland walk. In the event of defined inappropropriate weather, the Pet Walks Cancellation Policy is applicable.

What to bring?

Bring a picnic lunch plus the usual pet walk items, ie:

• Water and bowl for your wolfie
• Poo bags - a must for this walk!
• Dog snacks
• Dog stake and chain (optional)
• Small First Aid kit
• Lunch
• Sunglasses
• Sunblock
• Hat
• Day backpack

Could all members planning on attending walks please put the co-ordinator's mobile phone number into their own phones in case they get lost on the way to the meeting point, or find that they are in the wrong place altogether! If it is close to the meeting time and you can't find us then just call for help! We are happy to wait until you arrive if you let us know.
