From Melbourne travel to Bendigo by either the McIvor Highway
or the Calder Highway.
From the fountain in central Bendigo, travel north on the Midland Hwy. After
5.7km, turn right
at the Fosterville / Barnadown turn-off. This goes about 1/2km to a T-intersection
(Vic Roads Map 281 R5).
At the T intersection, turn right, go over the train line and
turn left onto Taylor St. Stay on that road
for 15.1km from the train line and turn right onto Winzar lane. From there it
is about 2km to the race site.
There will be signs at all turnoffs.
You will need to bring your own camping equipment and supplies
as the only facility
provided by the Club is a portable toilet.
